So your probably wondering about the name, 1000 Victories… For twenty plus years my wife has been asking me, whether it’s a project around the house or my work day, …she would ask “Did you win?” I would like to say that I always replied yes but the truth is there were times I would have to say “No, but I will.” …and I did. Every facet of a construction project is another victory which in the end amounts to the main goal, which is a satisfied customer. Every day I ask God for just one and he gives me a thousand.
I started welding in High School after which I attended Hobart School of Welding Technology in Troy, Ohio. My first full time job was working for JR Green in Boonton NJ. as a sheet metal mechanic. The company fabricated and installed industrial washers, dryers, and paint systems.
I worked several years with different contractors in all areas of home construction before taking a job with The Home Depot. I stayed with them for over seven years and then moved on and became manufactures Rep for companies like Kohler and Clarison. Working in major Big Box retailers doing new and existing store sets and re-sets.
My wife and I opened a retail store in Miford PA selling western and Southwestern furniture and decor and then moved onto importing pottery from Mexico. We did this for several years until our son was born in 2000.
I went back to welding taking a job with Seimens Westinghouse repairing ground based turbine blades. I stayed with them for 6 years until moving to South Carolina to be with my Dad and get out of the cold.
I worked with my brother-in-law in textiles until I took a job with Springwell Church in Taylors SC. as their facilities manager. I held that position for 10 years until going out on my own in the fall of 2017.
